Sweden made nice models named GALANITE in 1;43 scale. Unfortunately little is known about how many models there are or when they were made. Judging by models one could assume that the factory closed the early seventies. I never found a model that was built after 1973.

GALANITE did not number it's vehicles but - luckily - they put there name as well as "SWEDEN" on the bottom of the car. The name was in most cases put underneath the bumper.



The same problem as with the other vinyl cars is the fact that practically identical models can be found with no markings whatsoever on the car itself. Judging by the model one assumes that it is GALANITE or VINYLLINE but you can never be sure.

Some collector judge the cars by the wheels, but I find this not reliable. When you look at the bottom, you notice that all brands have different features underneath from which one can deduct to which manufacturer it belongs.

As long as there is little to be known I will number the GALANITE models until an original list appears or someone gives me the right data.
